Personal Projects

3D Printed CNC

Designed and 3d Printed a CNC machine for personal use. This ended up being useful for shaping PETG Sheets for 3d printed face masks during the initail covid outbreak in NY. This project was also intended to get me to learn fusion360, which I think was overly successful.

Covid Face Shields

When Covid Broke out in NY, a close family friend convinced me to use my three 3d printers to make face shields for local medical workers. We ended up making over a thousand in two and a half months.

Personal Website and Blog

Your currently here! Take a look around. This site is served off of a single Raspberry Pi using Nginx and Ghost.

Heavy Tombstone

I wanted to create a fairly large 3D printer for higher temperature filaments. I ended up purchasing a Ender 5 max and redesigning a freestanding enclosure from the ground up. Theres really too much to list here, so please check out the details in my blog.

3D print Farm

When covid came around I really only had one printer running (my original prusa mk 2.5s). But I had just ordered parts to finish the mods to get my ender 3 and duplicator plus running properly. In order to run all three 24 hours a day for two and a half months I used rpi print servers and webcames so that I could monitor everything while still working my normal day job.

VR Avatar Modeling

A good portion of my social life has been in vr over the last two years. Ive met amazing people from all over the globe and representing myself with different avatars has been fun. Ive learned how to customize and build them which turned out to be a very involved and technical process.
